Wool: #3 Light Weight yarn
Crochet Hook Size: 3.5mm (E-4)
Gauge: 5 double crochet stitches x 2.5 rows = 1 inch

Pattern Instructions:
Row 1:
Make 5 chains, slip stitch to form a small circle (or use a magic ring).
Chain 3 (counts as a double crochet), make 3 double crochets, chain 3, make 4 double crochets.
Repeat from * to * 2 more times in the same circle.
At the end, make chain 3, slip stitch into the beginning 3rd chain to form a 4-corner square.
Row 2:
Chain 3 (counts as a double crochet), double crochet in each of the next 3 stitches.
Make a corner into the chain space of the corner (2 double crochets, chain 3, 2 double crochets), double crochet in each of the next 4 double crochet stitches.
Repeat from * to * around.
At the end, slip stitch into the beginning 3rd chain.
Row 3:
Chain 3 (counts as a double crochet), double crochet in each of the next 5 stitches.
Make a corner into the chain space of the corner (2 double crochets, chain 3, 2 double crochets), double crochet in each of the next 8 double crochet stitches.
