Pattern:

Round 1 (Color A & Color B):

With Color A, start with a magic loop.

Chain 3 (counts as a double crochet), and make 8 double crochets (dc) into the loop (total of 9 dc).

Change to Color B, and make 3 more double crochets (dc) in the magic loop.

Pull the tail to close the loop.

Round 2 (Color B):

Still using Color B, make 1 single crochet (sc) in the top of the chain 3 of Color A.

In the next stitch, make 2 sc, then 1 sc in the next stitch.

Continue with 2 sc in the next stitch, then 3 half double crochets (hdc) in the following stitch.

Work 2 sc, then 1 sc, and finally 2 sc. End with 1 sc in the last stitch.

Slip stitch to join and fasten off.

Round 3 (Color C):

Attach Color C to the same chain-space (corner of Color A and Color B).

Chain 1, and make 1 sc in the same stitch, followed by 2 sc in the next two stitches.

In the next stitch, make 2 sc, followed by 1 sc.

Work 2 hdc, and 2 hdc in the next stitch.

Make 1 dc, followed by 2 dc, then 2 tr in the next two stitches.

Continue with 2 dc, then 1 dc, followed by 2 hdc.

Finish by making 2 hdc, 1 sc, and slip stitch to join. Fasten off.
