Round 4:

Ch 1, dc in next, 2 htr in next, 2 tr in each of the next 2 stitches. 1 tr in next, 2 tr in next, 1 htr in next, dc in next. Sl st in each of the next 5 stitches. 2 htr in next, 2 tr in next, 2 dc in next. Sl st between next 2 stitches (center bottom). Now reverse the above pattern:

2 dc in next, 2 tr in next, 2 htr in next, sl st in each of the next 5 stitches, dc in next, 1 htr in next, 2 tr in next, 1 tr in next, 2 tr in each of the next 2 stitches, 2 htr in next, dc in the next 2 stitches, sl st between next 2 stitches.

Round 5:

Work dc in each stitch, but increase with 2 dc in 4 places on the curvy edges to prevent curling. Sl st in first stitch, fasten off. (This round is optional, but it helps give the coaster a nice shape.)
