Easy Crochet baby Dress Pattern

We all understand that every crocheter derives immense joy from creating enchanting dresses for little girls. This pattern is no exception; it’s both simple to follow and features exquisite stitches that are sure to captivate everyone. In the end, it leaves our little girls looking stunning and feeling comfortable in their beautiful crochet dresses, all while preserving the timeless elegance of crochet.

I’m delighted to share with you the crochet pattern for a charming pink girl’s dress. Below, you’ll find the crochet pattern along with the accompanying video tutorial. The instructions are presented step by step, making it incredibly simple to follow along. As you’re aware, handmade creations hold a special place in our hearts and are truly valued.

These are the measurements for different ages using 3mm thread and a 3mm hook:

  • 1 year: 100 chains
  • 2 years: 110 chains
  • 3 years: 120 chains
  • 4 years: 130 chains

Begin with a chain of 100 chains, joining one end with the other using a slip stitch.

Tutorial

Round 1: Chain 4, skip 1 chain, and in the next, make 1 double crochet.
Chain 1, skip 1 chain, and in the next, make 1 double crochet.
Continue this sequence until the end of the round.
Finish the round with a slip stitch in the 3rd chain from the beginning.

Round 2: This round will be an increase.
Chain 3.
In the spaces where you created chain points in the previous round, make 2 double crochets.
In the spaces where you previously made double crochets, make 1 double crochet.
Continue this sequence until the end of the round.
Finish the round with a slip stitch in the 3rd chain from the beginning.

Round 3: Same as Round 1.

Round 4: Chain 3.
In the spaces where you created chains in the previous round, make 2 double crochets.
In the spaces where you previously made double crochets, make 1 double crochet.
In the spaces where you created chains in the previous round, make 1 double crochet.
In the spaces where you previously made double crochets, make 1 double crochet.
Continue this sequence until the end of the round.
Finish the round with a slip stitch in the 3rd chain from the beginning.

Rounds 5, 7, and 9: Same as Round 1.

Round 6: Chain 3.
Make 1 double crochet in each stitch.

Round 8: Same as Round 6.
If you started with 100 chains, you’ll have approximately 94 squares. If you have more or fewer squares, divide them into 4 equal parts: sleeves, front, and back. For example, with 22 squares for each sleeve and 25 squares for the front and back, placing markers to identify them.

SKIRT:

Round 1: Start by positioning within each square with 4 chains.
In the same square, make 5 triple crochets.
Chain 1, then in the next square, make 1 single crochet.
Chain 1, and in the following square, make 6 triple crochets.
When you reach the 1st marker, skip the 22 squares for the sleeves.
Continue this sequence throughout the front until you reach the next marker, skipping the 22 squares of the sleeves again.
Keep going until the end of the round.
Finish the round with a slip stitch in the 4th chain from the beginning.

Round 2: Start by positioning with a slip stitch in the 1st triple crochet.
Chain 4, then make 2 back post triple crochets.
Chain 2, and in the next fan, make 3 back post triple crochets.
Skip to the next fan and repeat the pattern.
Continue this sequence until the end of the round.
Finish the round with a slip stitch in the 4th chain from the beginning.

Round 3: Same as Round 1.
Close the round with a slip stitch at the beginning chain.
You can continue working as long as you want to achieve the desired length.
