Instructions for 12” Wide Strip

Foundation Chain: Chain 44 stitches (multiple of 8 (32) + 12 = 44)

Border:

Sc in the 2nd chain from hook and across, ch 1, turn. (43 stitches)
Sc in each stitch across, ch 1, turn. (43 stitches) Repeat once more.

Pattern:

Row 1: Dc in the first 5 sc, ch1, sk 1 sc, dc in each of the next 7 sc, ch1, sk 1 sc, dc in each of the next 7 sc, repeat across to last 6 sc, ch1, sk 1 sc, dc in each of next 5 sc, ch1, turn.
