Round 4 (Peppermint Swirl Loops):
Color A (White): Ch 5, drop loop from hook.
Add Color B (Red) in next st with sl st, Ch 5, drop loop from hook, push chain to the back.
Repeat sequence:
Pick up Color A loop, sl st in next st, ch 5, drop loop.
Pick up Color B loop, sl st in next st, ch 5, drop loop.
Continue repeating around until you have 30 ch-5 loops total (15 of each color).
To finish:
Color A – sl st in the last open stitch of the round, next to the beginning White st.
Color B – sl st into the base of the first Color B ch 5.
At the end, you should have 15 White loops and 15 Red loops, alternating evenly around the coaster like a peppermint candy.
