- Begin with color A and crochet 4 rows.
- Switch to color B and crochet 4 rows.
- Continue with color C for 4 rows.
- Return to the main color (MC) and crochet 4 rows.
- These 16 rows create the Stripe Pattern.
Blanket Instructions:
Start with the main color (MC) and chain 145.
1st row (Right Side): Make 1 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd chain from the hook. Make 1 sc in each of the next 3 chains. *Then, make 3 sc in the next chain and 1 sc in each of the next 8 chains. Repeat from * to the last 5 chains. Make 3 sc in the next chain and 1 sc in each of the last 4 chains. Turn.
2nd and 3rd rows: Chain 1. Skip the first sc. Working in the back loops only, make 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc. *Make 3 sc in the next sc and 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc. Skip the next 2 sc. Make 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc. Repeat from * to the end of the row. Turn. Leave the remaining sc unworked.
4th row: Working in the back loops only, slip stitch (sl st) in each of the next 3 sc. Chain 6 (this counts as a triple treble). Make 1 triple treble (tr tr) in each of the next 2 sc. *Then, make 3 tr tr in the next sc and 1 tr tr in each of the next 3 sc. Skip the next 4 sc. Make 1 tr tr in each of the next 3 sc. Repeat from * to the last 6 sc. Make 3 tr tr in the next sc and 1 tr tr in each of the next 3 sc. Turn. Leave the remaining sc unworked.
5th row: Chain 1. Working in the back loops only, *make 1 sc in each of the next 4 stitches, 3 sc in the next stitch, and 1 sc in each of the next 4 stitches. Repeat from * to the end of the row. Turn. These 2nd to 5th rows create the pattern.
With MC, repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows once more.
Keeping track of the pattern, work in the Stripe Pattern until you’ve repeated it 3 times. Then, with MC, repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows once more. Fasten off.
