Round 2: Chain 3 (counts as the first half-double crochet and chain 1), make a half-double crochet in the next stitch, [chain 1, half-double crochet in the next stitch] 10 times, chain 1; switch to the second color and join with a slip stitch in the second chain of the beginning chain—12 half-double crochets and 12 chain-1 spaces.
