Steps:
With the purple yarn, make a chain of 15 chain stitches and join into a ring. Crochet 31 double crochets into the ring. Make 15 rings (double crochets, chain stitches) and set aside the 5 chain stitches.
Set aside the purple yarn. With the white yarn, make a chain of 15 chain stitches and secure it as shown in the photo.
Then, crochet with the white yarn according to the pattern, as in the first element.
Leave the white yarn. Continue crocheting with the purple yarn and make “picots” on the white element.
Pick up the white yarn and make “picots” on the purple element. Set the work aside.
Repeat steps 1–6 for the 4th strip. In the 5th step, make only 6 “picots” with the purple yarn. Next, attach the “picots” to the top of the first element.
Crochet the elements to the end. Make the second strip of these 9 elements similarly to the first one. Make two more such strips. For the back, make 8 strips of 9 elements each.
